Size Reduction Systems in Power Stations
Increasing functional reliability by upstream size reduction
The boiler ash and slag generated in power stations contains mainly lump materials ranging up to about 150 mm, arising from caking and then flaking on the boiler walls.
Up to 5 % of the ash can be lump material. These lumps cause blockages in downstream plant, usually pneumatic conveyors, or the same problem when discharging bulk transport vehicles.
Our CEMBREAK grinding processors are used successfully for pre-grinding and fine grinding of ash, filter dust, slag, etc. in power stations.
